In 2016, Diversified Rehabilitation Group received the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award for the Mid-size Business of the Year (11-50 employees). Diversified thanks everyone who selected our company and we truly appreciate this recognition.
Diversified Rehabilitation Group actively supports an initiative by the Kidney Foundation of B.C. and Yukon which encourages companies to make it standard practise to offer employees a chance to register for organ donation. Diversified Rehab is the first company in the province to formally sign on and is working with the Kidney Foundation on the initiative, which was the brainchild of Diversified President and CEO, Derek Sienko. The idea is an expansion of a pilot project that the provincial government started a few years ago at Service B.C. Centres.
Diversified Rehabilitation Group hosted a luncheon at their office on January 13, 2017, whose purpose was to recognize other 2016 Business Excellence Award winners and nominees, as well as representatives from various Kelowna based businesses. Special thanks to Norm Letnick, MLA for Kelowna-Lake Country, for his willingness to join us and address the group.
