We provide a Traumatic Stress Recovery Program (TSRP) for individuals suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This program includes multi-disciplinary clinic services approved by Veterans Affairs Canada. Incidents that can put individuals at risk for PTSD include serious physical injuries, combat exposure for soldiers, motor vehicle accidents, robberies, violence or assaults, bullying or harassment, and exposure to trauma for first responders and healthcare providers.

Our five (5) week TSRP residential program is offered in Kelowna, BC, and is also available to outpatients. The maximum number of participant is six individuals per group.

The TSRP program involves scientifically supported treatments like Self Regulation Therapy (SRT), Biofeedback, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while providing a strong educational component to assist participants in understanding their experiences. The TSRP also includes: Art Therapy, Pet Therapy, Yoga, Mindfulness, and Cardiovascular activities.

Participants engage in a strong educational component that assists in the understanding of their personal experiences.  The TSRP can also assist participants with their return-to-work planning, choosing a suitable career goal or provide on-the-job coaching.

The interdisciplinary team consists of Registered Psychologists, Registered Clinical Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Consulting Psychiatrists, Physicians, and Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists and Mentors.

The TSRP also includes:
